Having a regular exercise routine also prevents relapse of depression. Exercise is beneficial because it releases endorphins or the ‘happy hormone’ in the brain that energizes the spirits and make one feel good. An exercise routine also gives one space in which they can relax and keep away all negative thoughts and emotions which make one feel depressed.
